Ms Meaghan Walsh
Meaghan Walsh is a psychologist, who has primarily worked in the area of educational psychology with Dr. Ian Macdonald for the past 7 years, focussing specifically on transition and teaching and learning issues at the tertiary level. Her work at Swinburne has included:
- 1998-99: Assisted in the management of a CUTSD funded project at Swinburne University of Technology, which aimed to improve the quality of teaching and learning in 1st Yr Engineering,
- 1999: Conducted a study into the issues of transition faced by tertiary students with a rurally isolated.
- 2000: Held the position of Manager in the Centre for Learning in Engineering and Science.
- 2000: Worked in a research capacity in the Neuropsychology Laboratory (in the School of Biophysical Sciences and Electrical Engineering), in carrying out the first phase of a national SPIRT funded project that explored the nature of occupational stress experienced by academic and general university staff.
Meaghan currently works in private practice as a psychologist.
