- Ways of increasing student motivation and interest, with specific strategies for tutor to use in class situations.
Day two: Session 2
Big Ideas, cognitive overload
- The importance of conceptual learning and the Big Ideas of a course
- Teaching for conceptual understanding, including a wide range of targetted strategies
